A fairer opportunity to own
To us, ownership is about choice, independence and the ability to plan for the future. We want more people to have a clear path toward it.
Ownership begins with a decision someone can make
As OWN's issuer, we care about the token's future and support the growth of its ecosystem. Clear information, development and adoption are part of that work. Operators remain responsible for the services and acquisition arrangements they provide.
Imagine someone who has completed work but will be paid next month. Paying in full today and agreeing to payments over time present different choices.
This is an illustrative example, not an actual Foundation customer or measured outcome. It asks how an acquisition route can recognise timing without hiding cost, obligation or risk.
Compare the payment schedule with the rest of the person’s commitments. Proceeding, changing the objective or waiting can each be a reasonable choice. Wider opportunity does not mean that everyone qualifies for every product.
The ownership question has two parts
The first question concerns the asset: what will a person hold, and what does holding it mean? The second concerns acquisition: what must happen before the person receives the rights the agreement describes?
For a token, technical identity and associated terms define the asset. An acquisition agreement sets out the person's payments, rights during the term and consequences of completion or non-performance. Owning a token does not automatically mean owning equity in its issuer.
A route is easier to evaluate when these matters are explained together rather than treated as unrelated details.
Three parts of our work
I
Explain the token record
We explain OWN’s identity, fixed supply and original allocations, and point readers to the responsible organisations for information about their own services.
II
Care for OWN’s future
Our care for OWN continues after issuance.
We maintain its official identity and supply record and support development of its ecosystem. Each provider remains responsible for the services it offers.
III
Support ecosystem growth
We support development and adoption around OWN and invite platforms to propose useful applications.
Each service needs defined responsibilities and agreements. Other companies can also learn from OWN when developing their own token and acquisition route with a chosen operator.

Our responsibility to OWN
OWN Token Foundation issues the token, maintains its official identity and supply information, and supports its future through ecosystem development and adoption. Our care for OWN includes the people carrying out that work.
The Foundation is independent of the 49G group. Its institutional role does not make it the operator of BitLease, the provider of every acquisition arrangement or the issuer of another business's token.
The Foundation does not itself offer OWN for sale or set its market price. The OWN Access Plan is a BitLease offering, supplied from the OWN Access Pool under the relevant parties' arrangements.
Different roles, one understandable example
Four separate organisations, each with a defined role in the OWN example. Shown side by side: this is not an ownership or reporting structure.
issuer
OWN Token Foundation
Maintains OWN's identity and supply record, cares about its future and supports the growth of its ecosystem.
platform operator
BitLease Technology Ltd
Operates the platform offering through which the OWN Access Plan is provided.
OWN Access Pool lessor
BitLease Capital Ltd
Holds the Pool inventory in its defined capacity for the OWN example.
genesis instruction originator
49G Holding Ltd
Originated the mint-and-distribution instruction specifying allocation routes. That instruction did not confer ownership of the entire supply or authority over the Foundation's Council.
Each organisation has a distinct responsibility. The Foundation remains independent.
A human right. A practical question.
Article 17 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights recognises the right to own property. Sustainable Development Goal target 1.4 includes access to ownership and control of property within its wider call for equal rights to economic resources.
These references provide context for why ownership matters. They do not imply that the United Nations sponsors, endorses or partners with the Foundation.
Our practical question is narrower and concrete: how can more people have an understandable opportunity to work toward owning an asset that is meaningful to them?

Caring for OWN is ongoing work
Readers need to identify the contract, understand the original allocation, distinguish circulation from historical supply and find corrections to published facts.
Mission resources support development, adoption and ecosystem work, including remuneration for the people doing that work. The token record needs the same ongoing attention: dates, corrections and a clear distinction between historical figures and live balances.
The token-reference page identifies which information is available and which contract particulars remain to be supplied.
Opportunity is wider than a single product
Access means understanding the asset, its intended service, the proposed terms and the choices available when circumstances differ.
OWN has an independent issuer and an intended utility purpose. Other businesses may explore acquisition models with a chosen platform or provider under their own arrangements. Future applications remain proposals until separately established.
Questions worth asking about an ownership opportunity
Where can I read about acquiring OWN?
Continue to bitlease.capital for information about the OWN Access Pool and related arrangements. This Foundation website maintains the token and supply record.
Does this website provide the acquisition service?
This website explains the Foundation and its token record. Read the responsible providers’ own information at bitlease.capital for the Access Pool and related arrangements.
Who operates the actual acquisition?
BitLease operates the OWN Access Plan. The Foundation issues OWN, cares about its future and supports its ecosystem; the operator remains responsible for the acquisition service and its contract.
Can the idea go beyond OWN?
Other businesses can consider LTO for their own token with a chosen operator, including BitLease or another platform or provider. Platforms can separately propose meaningful uses of OWN. Each application requires its own evidence and agreements.
