Important information.

Five things to know before you rely on anything about OWN.

No remedy

The Foundation has no power to fix, freeze, reverse, reissue or migrate OWN, and it undertakes to no one that it will. That is true if the code has a defect, if the network fails or forks, or if keys are lost or stolen. A holder of OWN holds it on that basis. The Foundation would not deploy a replacement contract, call any other token OWN, endorse a wrapped, bridged or “v2” version, or compensate holders from its own allocation.

No offering, no price

The Foundation makes no offering of OWN, sells none and sets no price. It publishes no price prediction, no return expectation and no valuation of OWN. Nothing on this site is an offer. BitLease Technology Ltd runs the OWN Access Plan, and its terms are its own.

Official statements

Only the surfaces the Council designates speak for the Foundation. What appears anywhere else is not the Foundation’s statement, however accurate it may be. Other companies, BitLease included, describe the Foundation and OWN in their own materials, on their own responsibility. The Foundation commits itself only in writing, through a person with authority, never by interview, post or conversation. An address that does not match the Foundation’s Contract Identity Record is not OWN.

Corrections

If we get a fact wrong, we correct it on the page where it appeared, with the date. The corrected statement takes the old one’s place, and the page shows that a correction was made.

Data protection

The Foundation is a controller under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act. It holds little personal data: details of its Council, officers and Secretary, and identification and screening records for its counterparties. It holds no personal data about holders of OWN and keeps no register of holders. This website sets no tracking. Send data-protection requests to the Secretary through the Contact page.
